What's everyone's thoughts on Ameren's Current state? Digital VPs are asking for reports on work completed at the end of each month moving forward. People are already jumping ship due to the RTO across the organization. With the ICC rate case, hiring freeze & budget cuts things don't appear to be looking good. Anyone else think cuts are possible this year?

Social media posts---YES!!! Audit all of them, especially in Digital IT. There are several of them that are on social media ALL DAY LONG. I've seen some of them bullying others online regularly, using their job title to push around both current and former employees. Get rid of EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. They are not doing anything except acting important and demanding reports and spreadsheets from their employees. They need to go.
Start laying off or retiring the over abundance of managers, senior managers, directors, senior directors, and vice presidents in IT. First up should be the ones that have so much free time they are on social media arguing their political views round the clock. Most of them are dead weight, only slowing down the workers with requests for more reports and meetings.
I’m hoping things get back to a pre 2018 culture and work level in Digital. It was a nice place back then. They really need to get rid of the huge management layer that was added. It’s made getting work completed in a timely manner a lot harder.
A little late to be asking what the WFH employees have been doing all this time. The G-B has always been overstaffed, I can't imagine what it is like now with all the WFH hiring. I am curious how the plants and field locations feel about this. I know from my past experience that most of assistance from the G-B was worthless, looking at you turbine and environmental groups, even when they were in the main office. Now most of them are WFH, unbelievable!
