Thread regarding US Foods layoffs

Newsweek - Trustworthy - USFoods

Newsweek has put US Foods on their trustworthy list for 2024.

Way to go Newsweek. How much in ads did US Foods buy?

This so called trustworthy American Company has gone behind employees backs after our yearly reviews in the beginning of March 2024 giving employees raises. However, by the end of March 2024 we were told of our layoffs start August 2, 2024.

Out of curiosity how does outsourcing to India help the with American restaurants/economy.

Does US Foods realize laid off employees went to restaurants also. Now for lacking in an income I know I am not going. Most likely now US Foods will be raising prices on their customers.

Thank you Dave and US Foods Shareholders for your need for greed and helping to destroy America families along with other American Companies outsourcing overseas.

Ps. Newsweek you need to do better research.

Dave Flitman(Barney Rubble) is just a ghastly person. He has destroyed company culture. The upper echelon who lay off all these frontline workers never seem to think their own positions are not needed. He will make the company shareholders money in the short term but over some time as things go sour he will jump ship to destroy another company.

Dave Flitman has destroyed the company culture. His only care is making money. Laying off American workers to save money and send to a company that is consistently losing money. Real head scratcher. I’m sending these issues to multiple Senators and Congressman to let them know what this company thinks of American workers

Corporate greed does not tow party line. This company is he-l bent on using AI to replace as many staff as possible. They already have with supply chain and pricing support. This Company is an epitome of corporate greed. Record profit yet employees received a cost of living adjustment and a small bonus for making them record profit.

U.S. Foods has consistently laid off buyers, demand planners, cost analysts, logistics, etc multiple times within the last few years. They’ll lay off 50-150 at a time so it doesn’t make news. This company is the epitome of greed and dishonesty. Would never recommend anyone to work for them. More layoffs are on the way too.

I know how you feel. What is going on with this country. We need to make America Great again. We need to bring our jobs back to America where it belongs. Many people are out of jobs, I feel bad for the ones that have been there for years.
