Profits are up. Company is performing well. Company was just recognized as one of the best places to work so naturally, time for a layoff.

All I have heard is layoffs in HR. Probably finding a way to outsource to a 3rd party or leverage AI.
I was laid off today along with 3 others on my team in HR.

What departments have had cuts and anyone know what other departments are planned?
One of the best places to work? LOL. Not in the 10 years I was there. The lay-offs (aka firings) have already started.
