Home Office layoffs?

I heard there is a 10% cut coming. Anyone else?

Low performers are being let go. No need to do huge layoffs at HO. After reviews, there’s a wait time to see if you’re going to improve and then if you don’t, you are just transitioned (terminated). Here’s the catch, though: those that had poor reviews were ‘selected’ by their leadership during their calibration meetings as the ones that would eventually go. It really doesn’t matter if you improved or not. Once you’re selected, they make sure you don’t improve. It’s not illegal, it’s just unfair and unethical.

Walmart Health had layoffs today and are announcements to media are supposed to happen tomorrow 4/30/24. Imagine that, they waited until the first day of Q2.

I was laid off today, Earth Day. So were 3 others on my team in HR. Heard more layoffs to come. A couple former teammates were laid off in February, only one has found a WM job at the HO Bentonville. First time I have ever been let go :(

It already started. A friend of mine in the HO was fired (not laid-off) last week.
