Anyone tried to negotiate their redundancy package? what's the outcome?

You can only even think about negotiating if you have some sort of unique situation. Why are you entitled to more than anyone else? If you are certain you are, go for it.
What leverage do you have to negotiate? You’re let go. Severence isn’t a legal requirement ( warn is separate), but what Citi does pay as policy is already in the handbook, it’s all outlined there.
Why would you want to do that?
they take the money away and give you a can of beans per 1k
The HR are useless. They only give you general information of what is in the package. When you start a ticket questioning the terms, it takes many days to hear back and they won't even give you a straight answer because they only know as little as we are.
