The bank started sc--wing up with all the DEI nonsense, of hiring certain people because of their gender or color of their skin, and not hiring the most qualified individuals. Every time there has been a regime change the new "alpha-dog" has to come in with grand ideas to "fix" things even before they have even been in the door for 12 months. I've seen too much of this $h!t since I started back years ago before the merger.

Every new executive has to come in and disrupt what has been working (albeit with some issues) and completely turn everything upside down. And when those changes fail, they turn tail and run for their next company to sc--w up with no accountability for their actions. Meanwhile the teammates in the ranks have to slop through the mess to clean things up. I'm getting tired of this MO with Truist.

Hey Bill R, if you bother to read anything out here, you are a complete buffoon and so are the majority of the executive staff. Why not step down while you can, and let the BOD find a proper replacement to turn the company around. I mean how dare you give yourself a $21M salary increase for 2024, while most employees barely received a paltry 2% merit increase and no cost of living increases for the past 5 years.

Who or what exactly does Truist care about? Stock prices are down 40% since the merger. We went from the 6th largest bank in terms of assets to 9th/10th since the merger. We are ranked last in prominent customer satisfaction ratings in our respective region. Teammate morale is at an all time low in my 5+ years here…

SunTruist isn't that different. Plenty of banks have ran themselves into the ground.
