Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

Stuck

Bursting at the seams with unvested RSUs so I can’t leave. Sleepwalking through each day collecting a paycheck. Desperately hoping for some type of improvement when HPE buys us. Endless downward spiral with most co-workers profoundly unhappy with recent changes. I hope at least some people are happy out there (but I guess we never hear from those people in these forums).

Nonsense. If you were really so full of RSUs you would sell some to decrease risk right now. If you expect them to shoot up when joining HPE you are a fool.

Now that’s some Indian privilege right there.

Senior Sales management at JNPR have given up. Now its all about padding Clari with bogus opportunities in Q3 and Q4 so they look like they are coming to HPE with a decent funnel. I along with some other SP reps who cover the big Telcos int he US, have been told to put anything and everything into Q3 and Q4. basically, JNPR is cooking the books to get HPE excited and then the reps will pay the price for the lies.

If you think Juniper is bad, HPE is multiple times worse. Frequent layoffs, substandard benefits and compensation. Enjoy your time while you are here. Take time off, spend quality time with your family, travel. Onward and outward.

You'd be surprised how quickly most growth companies would cover those unvested RSUs. Find the right company and it is not even a question on equity vs Juniper.
