Worked here for a long time but still have a little while left. Started in electric ended up in gas. Crazy place no matter where you are. Gas has gotten a lot crazier in the past year or two. Crazy busy work all the time and more keeps coming.
Lots of easy OT though! So many rules and regulations now that nobody really knows what’s right, so we just do what we need to get the work done. Make sure you say safety at least twice daily and you’re hood here.

Bad management all around. Lots of old timers retired-in-place and too many ‘initiatives’ going nowhere. Zero opportunities for development and all training restricted to LinkedIn. National Grid is like working for a bad government agency.
