Does anyone else feel like these quarterly check-in and reviews are just another way to performance-management people out of the company?

There will not be an annual review; you do reviews every quarter. This is their removing the yearly review to hope no one notices there is no more MAP increase or bonus. It will go away like the Bravo cash awards. The cash that was supposed to be recycled to give better bonuses and pay increases. You seen how well that worked out. After this current mess they will be revoking our floating holiday, they do graciously gave us instead of bonuses and raises.
Go research quiet firing! If you feel like it's happening to you, create a file with details. I never see this company on the Warns Act list but yet a lot of people are let go all the time. Companies who engage in "Quiet Firing" are now being held accountable. It has always been around but they are engaging in it even more because of the bad economy.
I don’t. But, they do claim it’s less work at annual review time, however, it adds more reviews and more administrative burden which most of us don’t get time to do. So, it’s just more work we have to fit into our already overstuffed days.
F yeah dude
