Walgreens Boots Alliance Hit With IRS $2.7 Billion Tax Claim

Let me guess…us employees will have to pay the price, with another round of layoffs, 0% raises and 0% bonuses.

Remember what happened to Kmart and Sears. Now you can easily predict the future of Walgreens. It will end up like Kmart and Sears. First by layoffs, then store closures, then bankruptcy filing, then all assets including real estate selling. Then you will be left with only a handful and toeful stores.

Let me guess just like all the billions they pay in fines, they won't admit guilt but will pay the taxes they owe. crooks.

No surprise. It just seems par for the course for Walgreens. Ethics? What's that?

They are crooks....their track record in paying fines, is beyond belief. They have no shame, they have no respect by many. They are still in business who knows how. Maybe this tells you why. ANd for the ones that still back them, you are just as bad as them.
