Thread regarding Walgreens layoffs

A failure of management

Company has lost over 60% value in the last five years, shouldn't that say enough. For the ones that have been managing the last five years and telling people what to do.......you obviously are doing things wrong...why should anyone listen to you...when the value of the company that you have been managing( store managers to district managers) you think you would be embarrassed. What a track record you have.

Well stated, @hkx+1rPY3jJI.

@eik Village MD purchase was done with Zero input from store managers and it made this company lose billions this last quarter so your point is stupid as you are

I don't fault most of the lower-level management. Many are just trying to feed their families like the rest of us. It's Walgreen's warped corporate culture of fear and intimidation that makes people treat others poorly and adhere to policies and procedures that they normally would not.

But the store managers follow along whether you have no say, so you are just as bad as you follow a losing management directive. How does it feel being in managment and your company loses nearly 70% value in the last five years. What a joke.

Store managers have zero say in this company’s direction and if you believe that you are an id--t.
