Did you get idea about your severance ? Does it vary with VP, SVP and Director ? Also, is this policy state specific ?
My understanding is that the 12 weeks minimum only applies to thouse who have worked at least 10 years. For those, they get 2 weeks per year worked.
For those under 10 years, you get a cup of ramen if you have worked under 5 years, or a can of beans if you have worked 5 years or more
TX..is a big state...
What location?
Irving, Dallas, San Antonio, Other?
My understanding of the separation policy that it’s either 2 weeks per year of service (“calculated benefit”) OR 12 weeks pay for over $100K earners (“minimal benefit”) whichever is higher. For example if you worked in Citi less than 7 years, you supposedly get 12 weeks after the WARN notice.
It’s just my understanding of the policy, reading it 3 times. I didn’t have any conversations with HR yet. (I’m based in NYC)
