The big schools thought they could do it themselves and it would be easy, but they're finding out thats not really the case. Many who tried will give up outsource.
Yes- this project was NOT supported by 2u. Recently launched UNC programs w 2u are showing strong starts.
Post ID: @hla+1rPZQXpU, the results of UNC's challenges to launch is not a direct reflection on 2u, as if 2u is the solution. Schools still have to weigh whether they can work out their own system (by hook), or feel stuck having to go with 2u( by crook).
I would think this is a positive for 2U as more schools realize there is a value in outsourcing vs trying to do in house.
