Thread regarding GoHealth layoffs

The End, or Not?

95% drop in stock price over last 5 years, the exec line up completely lost, the competition eat our lunch, layoffs, etc. It'll not get better.

I'm very curious to see how it unfolds. When I joined (2020) there was a lot of optimism around the business model and there seems to be a growing cohort of potential customers. Based on some of the compensation structures AND as a former employee, I still don't truly understand where and how all of the costs get so inflated. On principle, it should be an incredibly high margin business, if not one that grows at a breakneck pace.

With the leadership overhaul, the last 12 months haven't been anything special. Granted part of that is the overall macroeconomic nature of where we are but surprised to see such a 'generally' cash flow heavy business struggle this hard.
