Everyone’s First and Most Fatal Mistake Is Believing
That Boeing’s deplorable laughable and repugnant leadership
could ever, deliberately make a sound decision.

Everyone needs to go back to the basic rule of life
“You Can’t Fix Stսpid”

You want leadership in aviation, look elsewhere.
There are plenty of examples where engineers are driving
innovations at start-up companies, in aviation.
such individuals chose not to work for Boeing, for a reason.

The greatest aviation company in America, is No More.
Moreover, no-one gets far riding a dead horse.

At this point, the type of leadership needed for a turnaround
would be found in the likes of General Leslie Groves who
headed-up the Manhattan Project.

The only thing a money manager running an
engineering company will ever accomplish is more
mass casualty incidents. (see the basic rule of life)

Culp is just playing an old game in a new place I must agree.

Anyone who thinks Culp should be the new CEO is crazy. He wouldn't know what to do in a real crisis situation where he can't sell or buy assets. At GE all he did was execute the prior CEO's "vision" and what many had clamored for more than 20 years

I don't understand why there are so many accountants in a company. They just punch in numbers in a computer. Or at most create a spreadsheet.

Accountants should not be running engineering companies or vice versa.

MBAs are a plague that you cannot get rid of once they infect the host. Nothing matters to them except money and their bonus. The future viability of a company means nothing as long as they pay themselves millions of dollars and bonuses.
