Laid off 4 days now and no communication from H.R.

I was notified the same way. MD robot read me the script via Zoom. Didn't look at me once or offer any type of condolences.
Manager robot was included and didn't say a single word. Having been a VP for 14 years one would expect some semblance of humanity. However, mindless robots don't have compassion as an option.
It's going on 3 weeks now and I've received nothing from the HR robot either. This is the worst company that I've ever worked for. I wish all who have been impacted the very best.
NYC - I was let go on Monday, 3/25. No communication from HR till now.
I finally got some lame email from HR today but it was vague and said nothing. It didn't even say how long the "notice" period is. Just that this person would set up time in the future with me. I was let go Monday and was told to work til 4/15.
My MD told me in Zoom I'm out. My own mgr hasn't said word 1 to me about the layoff. He works in another state and couldn't even come into chat all week and muster a "How are you?" or "Sorry about this, good luck finding your next job." Nothing. After years of my reporting to him. Where is the decency? Are these mgrs not human enough to offer a kind word, see how I'm doing or offer an ounce of compassion???

No one from HR contacted me as well. I'm (was) at 388 in NYC. I had my 3 min reading from script call from the MD on Monday.
I have a call with HR tomorrow, where presumably severance will be discussed. I’ll post the information I got afterwards.
