Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Put in my 2 weeks notice today

Just kidding… I sent an email to my Director telling her I resign immediately.

I was cut in one of the prior waves, and keep in touch with former colleagues. They've noted how I sound so much better, friendlier, good-natured. I FEEL better and healthier. It's a toxic environment, please, take a chance and move on. Even if it's a cut (for me it was not), it's not worth it. It can be scary to make a change (though not for me), but you'll find something better, and employers are understanding as long as you don't badmouth CVS. They know our reputation.

Why do you think it’s funny not to give a notice?

Hooray!! I too quit a couple of weeks ago and I’ve never been happier or mentally healthier. I hadn’t realized the level of stress, burn out and how trapped I was feeling. You definitely made a great decision. Good things for you in the future.

Good. Thought crossing my mind. Which director and department? Can you tell us your reason for leaving.
