Seriously, what's up with Qualcomm letting their engineers moonlight as realtors? I mean, these guys barely put in the hours at Qualcomm, spending more time showing houses and sealing deals in the real estate game. And trust me, their engineering skills? Not exactly top-notch. It's like they're doing the bare minimum at Qualcomm and going all out in real estate. How does that even fly? Makes you wonder if they're really committed to their day job.

You need to report this to ER via anonymous hotline OR HR / ER Hub. QC has a policy that anyone who works for a 2nd job needs to be vetted by Legal and ER. I've seen them reviewing Engineers who help their friend to build a silly website for free. It is no joke. HR isn't doing anything because they DO NOT know that these Engineers are doing. As soon as they find out, they will review it with Legal. Please report them.
@6qxo agreed. But why does any post that shows Q in good light but others in bad get deleted? Recently there was one where Faang was getting degraded by mafia and got deleted. If not deleted quickly spammed by more posts on top. This site is policed not by HR but by bitter-ex-Q

Therefore this type of post seems completely appropriate for this site and should not get deleted. This is a gossip site.

Are you jealous they are able to manage to do both? Over the years, I've worked with several that are eng/realtors. Didn't bother me. If they aren't cutting it (especially in times of layoffs) they'd be gone. If their management is happy with their performance, what's it to you? Let them manage their career path their way-- you manage your career path your way.
OP, if they are "sealing deals", hats off to them! Professional realtors are having a hard time even finding inventory to work with in SD market.

Cannot agree with you more. There are about 50 of them here in the office. HR should take note of this and get rid of these freeloaders. Anyone listening?
