Does anyone know if hiring managers are being asked/told to prioritize candidates who were "notified"?

Prioritization within candidates who are all internal would not make sense. The hiring manager will and should aim to hire the best candidate for the role, regardless of notified or not.
well, I am aware that the hiring manager is indeed looking at CVs, but perhaps he is also awash in other work he has to do and this will be an extended process. I was just wondering if HR is going to be attaching a label to each CV: NOTIFIED vs NOT NOTIFIED and that people like him will be pressured to source not just an internal candidate but specifically one of the people who were put on notice.
There is a hiring council now all must go through whoever is on that group.
doubtful, HR is so inept your application will sit for months and you'll probably never hear anything as the hiring manager is drowned to death in work.
If anything, they want your a— GONE if you were notified
