I would rather spend my lame duck period in the comfort of my own home but don’t want any issues or concerns with potential violations to the mandate.
Are any of you just staying home? Especially in the ny area

Management told me i could work from home
Was told of my reduction Monday, late afternoon. This morning, had no access to external sites. Had HR call today and mentioned this, was told this would be the case starting 4/1 so had to submit request for reactivation. Part of my responsibilities is online research, so with access revoked come 4/1, going in seems wholly pointless…especially with my entire team in a different location than me.
Remote Access locked today
by the time the violation report comes out you will be gone.....i think it is a non-issue to show in office. maybe one day to gather belongings and say goodbye however if you plan on applying for a position within citi it would be wise to go in for show.
My manager who was also let go told me and my peers who were laid off to stay home. I’ll probably go in one more time to say my goodbyes.
I was told it would be ok to work from home for the remainder of my stay. Why would anyone want or need to go to the office after this. I don't understand the two week notice period which it's supposed to be for transitioning the work. That should have already been taken care of while they were planning this disaster.
I went in today to get some things but I'm back home and will be finishing things, like you said, in the comfort of my own home.
Would they withhold severance? I doubt it.
What are they going to do, fire you?
By the time dummies figure it out you will be gone.
