Thread regarding Juniper Networks Inc. layoffs

When shall the HPE Hammer fall

When shall the guillotine fall? What have everyone heard about the target close date and the resulting layoffs? Perhaps the layoffs will be preemptive rather than resulting? Who knows what?

And have you seen RR’s 49$million golden parachute. Not such a people person leader after all. He has literally sold out the employees he smiles at on video.

India is on the chopping block right now. It has been announced that 10-15% will be let go, about 500 people.

All Juvinators must remember - this is an acquisition. HPE will be calling the shots. RR will not look after anyone as he stands to make millions with his golden handcuffs. HPE may need the SEs at Juniper but not all of the Sales Reps. Expect more Sales reps to be canned in Q2.

Of course RR is only interested in himself. The whole "Juniper Way" is a farce meant for good PR and to appease the lower tier employees. When I was one of those employees, I bought into it. As I moved up the company, I saw things that contradicted it. I saw illegal actions get swept under the rug. From directors on up, they are not Junivators. They only care about hitting quotas and metrics. I was very disappointed in the company once I saw behind the curtain.

just had a group call with members in Sunnyvale and APAC and EMEA and the rumor consensus is that the deal will be done in late Q3 and wrapped up by late Nov.

It’s only business as usual for engineering and most sale teams. The G&A are all to be laid off.

Employees got a deal worse than ever on this.

Definitely some gone in the last week, and as usual never the ones most deserving to see the door. Thank goodness I have a route away from the back stabbing management

Not sure, but the mad situation of pretending it’s business as usual is sickening. This applies to partners, customers and employees who are all being misled.

Before. HPE doesn't want to start by getting blood on their hands. Cull, merge, sit (1 year), cull again.

Some before and many more after (and likely on both sides). That’s what “synergies” is all about in Wall Street speak.

I believe things will be cleaned up before the acquisition which, I believe, will close in November 2024.
