It appears there's a redundancy meeting scheduled for March 28th for UK employees. I'm curious about what to expect and if anyone has any insights or information.

So, what was this meeting about?
It's just a meeting to discuss about options ad how to find open roles I guess. Atleast I know one VP that scheduled this. But it's not yet revealed to individuals who is going to be laid off. Since it's a significant number they are scheduling this. But in NA it's still a mystery and guessing game. A lot of rumor mills.
This is bs. Meetings will be scheduled after 15th April. Also, yes, I was made redundant last year and HR was on the meeting invite. Stop with the scaremongering and false information!!!
heard last year it was 1:1 call with manager, and then HR suddenly appears once the meeting begins.
What makes you think they will add HR to the meeting invite? They will probably have a "placeholder" in parallel to the actual meeting and then be added to the meeting a few mintues before. They won't have HR on the call days ahead so that people see.
I’m in the UK and haven’t received any such invite…
Any update on this meeting eg who is invited, what the purpose?
Has this gone out to all UK employees ???
I get a sinking feeling....
The notice period (less than 30 days up to 60 days) depends on the number of people being made redundant (more redundancies means longer period).
Still don’t understand how they already blasted out numbers for UK&I, and now this?
Is it all U.K. employees or just specific employees? If it’s specific employees and HR is on the call, or the meeting invite is entitled “employee at risk” then you are being made redundant.
Just curious, how much notice do they ha e to give UK employees that are told that they are being maderedundant?
