Just wondering how many employees in Netherlands will be on the exit list and how will the package look like? Because I have an external offer on hand and want to know if voluntary leave is possible/interesting for me?

If you already have an external offer I would take it ….. yesterday.
The first 17 have been fired, expectation is that another 120-150 will follow.
Ok minus 1 with yesterday’s announcement, the Excel manager is gone also.
The severance will very much depend on your years with the company and how good your lawyer is. And hoping the new workers council won’t sc--w you over.
So run! Before it’s too late and you’re competing with 120-150 colleagues on the few good jobs available.
The silos are a VMware thing. The moment you escape to work with legacy BCOM majority teams, it's a genuinely pleasant experience. Former VMware managers are still waging old turf wars and sabotaging each other. If I make it a year, it could be amazing once these VMware management people are replaced.

Exactly my thoughts. Working at AVGO is for people with flexible principles who have no soul and think only about the RSU carrot dangled in front of their lifeless faces.

Life here is (already is) going to be depressing, silo'd and very anti collaboration. We are being stripped of anything fun and even slightly uplifiting.
The mood is low, there is no plan. Only profit.
We have a boomer era company with their boomer era software forced onto our boomer speed computers slowing everything down.
The boomer CEO is a gnarly, miserable, weathered old has-been who thinks everything should be done his (shareholders) way or it's the high way.
