Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

He's baaaaack

Hunt Cary has quietly gone back to the UP and now in charge of intermodal. People need to start asking why he isn't at the CPKC anymore.

Irony was Vena did not mention Hunt Cary in his list of executive appointees/retirements on the UP homepage. They are keeping it quiet for a reason; everyone knows hiring Hunt Cary back is unethical. He was walked off the CPKC for falsifying reports. The JVUP is a joke.

Why it matters is why he was walked out of two other railroads. He didn't quit those other places, HE WAS FIRED! He worked very closely with Vena and Harrison before coming to the UP, so Vena knows all about him. Some would agree that he may be Vena's only friend, and is a friend in need of a job. Then some would agree that Vena needs someone else to push the PSR BS again. So when it fails, Vena will have someone else to take the blame for any issue that is most likely coming. Right now, Vena really has no one to blame and will have to take the full brunt of the problems. It's way easier to hire someone to act as a heatshield for himself so he can push his devastating PSR plan. Anyone with half of a brain cell knows Vena was shielded by Fritz last time. Most folks will agree that Vena was running the show when he was here last. The only thing that's changed is that he now has the CEO title. PSR failed miserably the first time and Fritz took the blame for it all because he was the CEO. Vena called the shots, alot of mistakes were made and Fritz paid for it with his job. Yeah we most likely can't do anything about it. I don't think it matters what Vena does. Vena is just looking for a heatshield for himself. Anyone with knowledge of PSR that was hired by a class 1 had a seat reserved in front of congress when it all hit the fan. The only difference now is that federal government is waiting for it.

What does it matter if people ask why he isn’t at CPKC anymore? What good is that going to do? We have no power to change anything.

You mean the HDC leader that came up with the attendance policy in Feb of 2020?
