BG3 is the best game of the year. It sold so much better than anybody predicted. It gave us nearly $100 million in clean profit, so far. But what did Hasbro's leadership do? They laid off most of the people from Wizards of the Coast who worked on the game with Larian and caused them to never want to do anything else with us, ever again.
This could have been a money-printing machine for us. No risk, nothing! But the leadership wanted to have its cake and eat it too. They didn't count on a CEO of another company being a standup guy who would not stand for that cr-p and who'd walk away without a second thought. I respect him for that so much. As much as I despise id--ts who run this place.
