Should never have let him go ford.

Did not offer adequate incentives for Wilson to stay so he left. In effect we didn’t fasten him to the company. L

Need an aerospace deeply knowledgeable, experienced and passionate workforce back. Unfortunately, that would take decades to get back if this is even possible given how few US people pursue aerospace careers anymore. So it's end days for Boeing no matter who is given the next severance package opportunity.

Condit was an engineer too. But both Phil and Alan were "golden boy" engineers selected and groomed for management before they even got officially hired by Boeing. You know...nepo executives.

Mulally was a design engineer in boeing commercial for his first 13 years. In 1978 he was named the engineer of the year nationally by the National Society of Professional Engineers before moving up to management in 1982. It just shows how completely nuclear the house cleaning was after mcdonald-douglas took over.

Nope, the people that should have been Boeing executives and CEO were the best engineers who were forced out of the company so the nepo bean counters could get these promotions.

Yep, far too late for an executive savior now. Could have...should have...would have... But it didn't happen... Time to face the hard truth reality. Boeing is a has been company.

They could make God CEO of Boeing now and it wouldn't change a thing. Without highly competent engineering and manufacturing people, you can't be a successful aerospace company. It took decades for Boeing to train and create highly competent engineering and manufacturing teams. All those people are long gone without being able to train the low labor cost fast food hires now incapable of designing and manufacturing quality and safe products.

If we had hung onto Mulally like we should have instead of the string of nepo losers we've had since he went to Ford we would not be in this alternate universe we're in now whinning &crying a river on something called boeinglayoffs.com. Anyone saying anything different is just on here pretending to be a current or former Boeing employee trying to troll everyone.

Don’t know about AM’s mixed doubles records but he was a natural born world shaker and could mop the floor up with whatever tired resources Lockheed could muster.

He sure topped many of his colleagues wives at the Boeing tennis club. Sure they put in a good word for him to help him climb the promotion ladder.

Boeing is doing much lobbying to elevate their stock price. That's the only thing they are expending dollars and effort to keep safe.

No Unsafe Airplanes Coming Out Of Boeing, FAA Head Says

During a televised interview with NBC News’s Lester Holt to discuss recent issues with Boeing BA +0.6% aircraft, the head of the Federal Aviation Administration, Michael Whitaker, said there “are not unsafe airplanes leaving the factory.”

Liar, Disingenuous, Delusional, Deceiver, Fabricator, Conman.
Duplicitous Boeing Prevaricator

Remember, the Fictitious Aviation Administration claimed that
Boeing deatҺtraps were safe even after two aircraft had managed
To display a perfect example controlled flight into terrain or CFIT.

Another Boeing Innovation, automated crash software tested
and approved by the FAA

Mually was just another nepo executive. While he may have been better than the degenerates that were CEO in his absence, Boeing destiny has been clear since the early 90s...insignificance. The leadership chain from first level supervisor to CEO could be replaced tomorrow and it wouldn't change this outcome. The people that made Boeing what it once was were largely NOT the leadership...and these people are ALL long gone and their lower labor cost replacements never learned from them. Aerospace isn't a fast food operation like the Boeing leadership since the early 90s treated it.

Dude was part of the cancer, you got a horrible idea there. He is indicted on both the 787 and 737MAX.

The man is in Mai Tai-ville reconnecting with kids he neglected, hoping he can salvage some part of his humanity with a pile of bloodstained cash. Only hire Mulally to captain your professional hot potato team.

Bring in Lockheed talent and clean house. Not a buyer of nothing stock, plane or spaceship till you clean the house. Need a management team who will expeditiously fire every person who says ... but we can save/make X$ if...
