"What's the deal with Dell remote work requests, huh? You're there, sitting at your desk, staring at that screen, dreaming of the day you can work in your pajamas, sipping coffee on your own terms. So you muster up the courage to send in your remote work request, thinking you're about to unlock the ultimate freedom. But instead of a green light, it's like they hit you with a virtual eye roll. 'Oh, you want to work remotely? How quaint!' It's like they're treating it as some exotic request, like asking for a unicorn as a desk pet. 'Remote work? What's next, asking for a hoverboard commute?' Oh, Dell, always keeping us grounded, even when we're trying to soar!"
"No, but I requested remote; haven’t had any response either way yet… still waiting. Not sure the date they either accept/deny it? "
So you requested remote from the tool correct? Not just telling your manager . After your initial submission through the tool did you receive an email stating waiting on manager approval? Once manager approves you'll receive a email stating so. Once this approval is complete it will go on to the HR and Facilities folks. Expect the final email to be about a week after the exercise closes.
