SM said a big win was delayed in 2023 into 2024. Q1 is almost over. Where is it?

Bring back McKinsey! NC can be their partner in charge of a Teradata turnaround with 50+ workstreams. I am sure he can help close this deal. Or just bring in JW, she can surely explain why VantageSwamp is better than Databricks. Team her up with HA and they will close the deal.
Ok, who is the customer? Do tell...
The customer changed their mind and is moving to Databricks. Smart move
Should go over swimmingly on the next earnings investors call
It has slipped again! The customer is still weighing up a move to databricks. They've had SM and TC pleading on calls to stay but it looks more and more likely it will push into Q2 with the most likely outcome to be another lost customer.
The win was actually his RSU that finally vested.
Anyone who tracks the industry knows Teradata is past the point of no return. Years of BoD incompetence and greed triggering repeated layoffs has left the company a shell of its former self. Sadly, more layoffs are inevitable. No rational company would select Teradata over the competition so that leaves only existing customers who are migrating off Teradata at a pace which reflects the degree of risk they perceive by staying on a zombie platform. All stated here is obvious and previously and repeatedly stated by others.
Clear that GTM is to blame for all of the slips and inability to close business. Simply listen to earnings report on “execution” Let’s not look at the lack of any tangible product that can be sold or customers want. Or any marketing, past personal self promotion that has helped to move the company forward. Or POC and migrations? Abysmal. The realisation is upon us that blame is widespread yet not going to matter until change is made in the right places.
Shhhh.... quiet period!
