I think it’s funny that the two leading SVPO are retiring at the end of the first quarter. It may be rough leading into the second quarter.
They have been hiring in the area I’m currently at since September. They won’t mark up engineers bc they have control of the board since the 11-4 took affect. Many engineers got cut back and are still cut back to conductors. Hiring hasn’t made a difference here
People that say to cut managers 50 percent are just stupid. We should want no cuts! Many of the managers have seniority and will displace someone if cut we should wish for more employees, both union and management, not wishing for cuts for the company to just pile more work on less people.
Grunts like us, the ones that do the work don't cost company as much as some director collecting 180Gs PLUS bonus. Sooner or later they might figure it out. Be a bunch of managers managing themselves lol
Smoke show riding the shiny. We all new garisn and Santa Anna would move up.
Managers will continue to be cut everywhere. Look at what is happening at Bayer. Top heavy is top heavy anywhere, and the hedge funds will get all the fat out. Nobody is safe, including the ceo.
Cut managers by 50 percent. Work load wouldn't change. We would be just as productive!
Will never happen! They need to make sure there’s 50 people under each manager.. Makes their job safe. But they claim other crafts, have too many people.. If this company didn’t have hypocrisy, they wouldn’t have anything
Cut managers by 50 percent. Work load wouldn't change. We would be just as productive!
Nothing interesting or noteworthy? Are you serious? When's the last time when anyone has seen multiple executives from any company retire at the same time? I've never seen that before! This was the handiwork of Vena. Sorry, but multiple executives don't all retire at the time just because they can.
There’s no way three executives decide to retire at the same time. It’s like hi---rs generals towards the end of the war. The things he asks are impossible and they’ve lost the illusion that he’s sane. The fix for him is to fire everyone.
So kept the same number of useless jobs? While they can’t wait to furlough the people, that are actually doing the work
Just a couple of executive retirements and promotions. It's on UPOnline. Nothing interesting or noteworthy.
Can you elaborate?
