Can we relax over the weekend?

I am not relaxing. I was not "notified" last week, which -- depending on who you want to believe on here -- means my role is safe, but I am 100pct expecting there to be an announcement next week that I am reporting into someone more junior. I'm not going to be happy about that.
It’s a mess. They are revamping what to say, how to say it, which parts to be vague and not bring up in conversation. There is no concrete plan, no structure, no direction. Its all morphing right now and will do so not only during this weekend but throughout next week as they go. The whole process is a mirror of Jane’s reign. A hodgepodge uncertain mix of make it up as you go. Jane is leaving behind a legacy, that’s for sure.
If you are told you’ll be reporting to a different group, ask the question “Will it affect my compensation and if so how?” I’m sure you’ll be told “it won’t affect your compensation ….at this time”.
“At this time” means that it will at a later date probably be lower.
Yes. Please relax. Citi has a very generous severance package. If you're let go, you'll be fine. I know it's scary, but I've been through it more than once and always landed on my feet.
I heard that ppl got notices last week: Finance - on Wednesday, O&T - Thursday, Risk -Friday
Those who weren't a target got reassurances that they are safe .. for now
As far as I have learned/confirmed, majority of impacted ones in my department (US, NYC, 388) have already been communicated from the past Wed to Fri AM, just not yet a broad announcement on new org structure to the survivors.
Yes relax over the weekend. Why stress over something you have absolutely no control over?
I have a short meeting with my manager in the morning too,
We were told Monday we will get instructions for next steps on identified staff. could be our turn as well. Anything is fair game.
Manager invited for a meeting first thing in the morning on Monday (O & T)
Managers in O&T have received mails from HR. Blood bath
