In my dept we now have a svp ic reporting to a svp. How does this make any sense
LATAM statted March 20th, USA starts next week Monday til Wednesday for those changing roles. If laid of you would have been told this week and some next week. New org charts and announcements from emt 1 and 2 go out next week Thursday March 28th. Bs goals done by 31. Middle of April global directory updates take affect. Those who stay will be communicate next week, on vacation you will get a call from manager regardless. It's all rushed and bs light show. Smaller cuts will still happen beyond March 28th. Q3 larger numbers and many maybe places on pips to not have to pay severance. Manager training from hr and communication guidelines went out this week and last based on what my manager told me. Everyone will read from a script and stick to it, also if you decline your new role change, you are basically out and no severance will be offered. So take job foe a while then look else where. If you decline new role or demotion to IC and stuff your manager will report to hr partner and guess what you've effectively resigned or quit asap and will be rushed out.
No communication! P2P limits were changed last month, nobody knew not even the Directors who approve things.
I can confirm some of it happened today. At least one DIR in NYC was offered to accept a reduced role or leave the company. I don't know how long they were given to decide.
My management team is hopeless, disconnected, (who knows what they really do all day) and aren't concerned about us at all. Any information that they get they delay telling even though they were supposed to do so right away. It's a controlling of info thing going on. The attitude is as long as my butt is ok sc--w everyone else.
So sick of waiting. And being told to update goals? Really? How about they tell us if we still have a job for another year then we will worry about goals. Damn.
Transparency. Citi needs to come clean and tell people who has a job and who doesnt. The truth shall set you free.

Honestly, no one really knows, so it's more fun just coming on here posting lies. All we know is that it will happen by end of March, which is Friday, March 29, essentially.
