Thread regarding Phillips 66 layoffs

Our Peers

One our primary peers stock price is $13 above our stock price and the other one is a full $40 higher. $40!!! And the only reason our stock is not even lower is because Elliott is still around, we just haven’t heard much out of them lately.
So much for wonderful Business Transformation.
I’m thinking the P66 Annual Meeting will be very interesting.

Tell Elliott that they can’t compare share prices to our peers. The last time I checked that’s exactly what they were doing and we weren’t measuring up.

You cant really compare stock prices. Look at total market cap and number of outstanding shares. Our market cap is typically higher than those peers but we have so many more outstanding shares to divide that market cap by, it makes the stock price lower than theirs.

It’s true we are beating some of our peers but they are the minor, small potatoes in the sector. Kind of like an average or below college football team beating a high school team.
Against real competition P66 isn’t performing very well.

Now list all of our peers who we are beating?
