@vds+1rBwwate Enjoy your time off and try to rest/recoup. I completely understand your mind needs a break and I have done the same thing myself. That's what you have days off for too, not just when you are sick or go out of town. Everyone needs mental health days from time to time.
Op here: wasn't going to take days off but my mind needs a break. And yes I know it can happen and nothing can be done about it.
Employees are Not protected from Layoffs during medical leaves and vacation. I've literally witnessed coworkers laidoff during their medical leaves and vacations. This includes maternity leave.
