Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Suppressing The Voice of Employees at SAP

Julia White has persuaded SAP's HR team to defer the planned unfiltered employee survey from April to June 2024, as an April survey would clash with a sweep of layoffs. More North Korea type tactics by the head of marketing.

What exactly is JW supposed to be good at doing?

Nobody seems to know how

Julia became a joke for me when she led the internal call in summer of 2022 versus Sabine.

It is impossible for us internally to keep up with the messaging and rebranding. How can a customer. First questions are always - is this a new product or rebranded.

Good luck to those who remain. I agree with the above post - seed are sown.

Anonymous Surveys are not Anonymous

Managers with very low NPS scores even before the layoffs began are still in place - so really, why bother with the surveys? Managers with high NPS scores and great 360s were laid off. It’s just an exercise in frustration.

As for Marketing being a mess, top heavy and full of cronyism: Can’t we outsource this function to a specialist company that is (at the very least) led by competent bulls**t artists?

I agree with the earlier comments. The Pulse survey is just another piece of the puzzle that make up the the performative nonsense that is the SAP Culture. Workplace culture is warm and fuzzy, but it is little more than bread and circuses for the employees.

The events of the last few months are evidence that the only thing that matters is the bottom line and/or shareholder perception of SAP’s performance. Our“culture” is always going to be of lower priority.

No one trusts that the survey results are using non-manipulated data anymore. What's the point of surveys if SAP won't even release info regarding pledge to flex?

I don’t believe the results of the survey will be much different in June. The seeds of dissatisfaction have been sown. Attitudes of employees post layoff who do remain only now with greater workloads and no increase in salary or benefits while confusion still swirls, will not be much improved in June.

In fairness, marketing is a big mess that needs to be cleaned up. Too top heavy and too many cronies.

Is unfiltered survey result really important? managers with trust index score 0 are still in their position without any improvement.
