When leadership resorts to laying off employees to boost profits, it suggests a lack of innovative thinking. It means that they either don't care or they're stuck in a rut, unable to come up with better solutions even though they're the ones who are paid the big bucks to figure things out. Either way, we need better people in charge.

I do believe this is true, I do not think there is a fix as many employees believe this but no managers and highers up to push this initiative to better the environment for everyone. There is no change in my opinion, either able to tolerate and adapt to this environment, or plan a way out.
