Your managers approval says your preference for remote has been approved, then it’s on to the next level for approval.

Is there any legalese in the choosing remote? I wonder how them telling you that your career is limited can be legal. I'm wondering if you must click through and say you won't sue Dell in court. Maybe force their hand by refusing to make a choice giving you constructive dismissal when they arm twist you out the door in Sept.

My remote request was approved. That does not suddenly remove the anxiety of them turning around and saying “well your manager approved, buuuut senior leadership has denied it” Because that’s how everything at every turn has been here at Dell in the last couple years. But for now it’s “Approved”

"Not BS. People are reporting the approvals they are getting from their managers."

That makes sense, the remote status has not been approved, "your manager" has clicked the approval button. My manager told us the remote status won't be known until at least a week after the exercise closes as his leadership is "carefully reviewing" requests. Not sure if that's before or after HR and facilities does.

Also received approval from my manager. Wonder what the next steps are, I know that they state "HR and facilities" will review, but managers on here have stated that higher leaders in their respective organization will also review and possibly deny. I guess we'll know when we know!

"Hmmm... the form stated next step was manager approval. Then off to HR and facilities. That was a pretty quick turn around for you. Not calling BS but... "

Right, so when your manager approves it (if they do) you get an email saying that your leader has approved it. Not BS. People are reporting the approvals they are getting from their managers.

I also already received a response from the form submission that my remote option was approved.

My whole team of 9 went with remote. We are all over the globe so I doubt they will try to force us to go hybrid.
