Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

When will execs finally give employees stock option?

Let your employees in the game.. voluntarily ofcourse. Employees tend to have higher morale when they have skin in the game.

Why do you want a guaranteed loser stock?? Invest in the S&P or something a lot more stable.

Leaders are worried more about their next move before they get laid off, not about stock options for the revolting peasants..

You expect the greedy to share the wealth? They think we're all su-kers and they're right. We work out of fear and necessity because we're not in the "good old boys club"

I will initiate MnA process once it goes under $1 or under $500M

They have been giving them since forever. Like someone said - after the peak it was only going down, so all people who got it later wanted to wait it out and if didn't sell now it is worthless.

when i joined sabre ages ago, i was given stock options that i was never able to exercise because sabre stock never went above the strike price before sabre went private.

imho, a much better way to reward employees is with restricted stock units (rsu)

I suspect that anyone who has Sabre stock has pretty low morale right now.

Think on the bright side though. If you buy some Sabre stock now then the price can only go up... or stay the same... or go down... or go down even more... or go to $0.... I hope you didn't buy on margin... oh dear...
