Thread regarding VMware layoffs

No help getting access to payroll info or HR portal

I know it’s a long shot to post on a site not geared towards internal help issues, but I’ve tried literally all means I can with no luck.

I’m on “leave” pending separation in April. None of the resources listed in the separation letter are functioning for me. I can access Broadcom using my personal email, but I have no apps assigned to my account. It says I should be able to access ADP for check stubs etc. but I can’t, and I’m told AVGO controls my credentials.

I have no system access anymore so I can’t use Okta and access the apps the traditional way. I have no access to the HR FAQ portal either.

I’ve emailed HR, support, payroll, the old VMware payroll email alias etc. multiple times and have never received a reply from anyone.

All I want is to get my recent check stub and know when to expect the actual severance letter / offer.

Anyone been in a similar situation and know who to talk to in order to get answers ?

Broadcom has shrunk the VMware support teams and the remaining people are overwhelmed. HT continues to boast about how his private equity-style business model benefits AVGO shareholders by cutting costs and increasing profits. Meanwhile, employee and ex-employee support is a very low priority.

This business model is short-sighted. People with this awful experience will tell others how dysfunctional Broadcom has become. Their rapidly declining reputation will eventually result in losses. It's inevitable. They're mortgaging their future for short-term results.

I couldnt find it either, but used these instructions and have access now.
go to netsecure dot adp dot com
click on new user? get started
click i have a registration code.
enter "NewSPG-mypay"
enter your personal info and follow the prompts. your employee id is the number under your name in your termination letter.

As for when those of us separating in April will get our letters and severance, that remains unknown but from others who have separated already it will be a few days to a week before the end date apparently.

Was getting a background check for a new job and the firm got no response from Broadcom either. Pointed them here and shared some paystubs which will work I think but it is pretty sh-t they can't respond in a timely manner to anything HR related.

I have asked a solicitor to now continue the communication as I, just like you, get nothing back and I am done playing games.

Good luck hearing from them. It took them 2 months to reply to a question.
