Say goodbye to AWA and OSLs in July

The other shoe is dropping on the four day RTO. Email coming next week basically saying every non medical flex schedule will be forced back in four days at the end of June.

You will need to re-apply and get SVP approval to have any deviation from your persona

Officially announced yesterday via 3 page email. Definitely hoping for people to quit.

I’d love to know the reason that they keep pushing this. Our running theory is they’re hoping to push people to quit..

The email states that if you are within 50 miles of any SSB office you need to go into the office 4 days a week…I know someone in that situation. She has worked remotely successfully for years prior to Covid as her team is thousands of miles away, now all of a sudden she will need to go into this office that has no one she has any involvement with.

Makes a whole lot of sense.

HR specifically told me that mileage from an office would not be a factor. How can one return to an office when they never had one?

My boss told someone on my team who is 40 some odd miles from an office (moved after Covid, not OSL) they have to report to Closest office within 50 miles. If you’re over, I assume you might get grand fathered in and not need to report.

How are they doing that for OSL that aren’t near an office?

It makes their process easier when go are marked as redundant.
