What does 83% MIP funding mean? We only getting 83% of our bonus when we should be getting 100%?

Who’s the a hole who is telling people to leave if they don’t like the company? Sounds like an arrogant RX DL who likes the taste of Koolaid.

Let me tell you something from someone who left and who knows a lot of others who did as well. The grass is greener. Store level retail, corporate, whatever you do, I promise there is better out there. I know pharmacists who entered the hospital system, store managers who went to other retailers, and corporate colleagues who went elsewhere. They are all happier and thriving.

CVS has and always had a systemic toxic and hostile culture. It is in the company’s DNA. It cannot be changed. It started in the days of Melville Corporation and worsened through the Larry Merlo years when he came from Peoples Dr-g. It ramped up in the days of the Macy’s regime and here you are today. With all of the leadership changes no one has improved culture. Why? Because a fish rots from the head down. The board, at their core is rotten. They are chosen by the rotten and when one leaves the rotten a hand pick another rotten. They install rotten executives leaders who surround themselves with those who share their “values” and vision. Then they hire field leaders of the same. You are either like these people or not. If you are not, you will struggle mightily . If you share their “values”, you will be rewarded.

Yup. It's sickening. Most of this ELT should be arrested. Bunch of thieves. Enjoy renting out the Magic Kingdom again. Funny, you would think since this stupid company acquired all these businesses last year and THEN decided to can a ton of employees things would be going well. Not the case.

I am so over going above and beyond. I'll leave my "heart" at home and do the minimum. There just is no financial incentive to do more.

@1woy+1r98WVoj My motto is never get marry to the company, get marry to the money. Company is all business they can lay you off anytime. Been told we as a company are family and next thing you know they drop you like it’s nothing. Happen on many different occasions so I changed my mindset that if they paid me what I ask for I can’t really get mad even if sh-t hit the fan. Leave when I want fire more pay same amount of work.

You are all forgetting what the last 2 years were. It more than offsets 1 bad year. Relax. It was a bad year industry wide. Everyone had layoffs. Walgreens is in dire straits. All good managers should be telling you not to rely on bonus as it could go either way.

Shouldn’t have to leave a company you have been with for years and years we mean nothing. It’s sad. Just another number. @ugy+1r98WVoj we deserve better. Gone are the days of working for a company for 30+ years and being able to leave with dignity and stability 🤬

Cvs should never have bought into long term care. Don’t know sh-t about that side. Thanks for nothing. Go collect your millions while “peons” suffer! !

Interesting maybe we peons should look at this trade of Prem dumping stock as a sign. Just for sh--s and giggles what if all the employees went into there 401ks and dumped all our stock also. Maybe it might send a signal to Wall Street that we need a change in leadership. Obviously from all the high fives and a-s slaps these leaders give each other on social media such as LinkedIn. They are very smart and knowledgeable so let’s all dump our shares and try and tank the titanic. Just following our leaders lmao

Looks like Karen’s side kick Prem is showing his faith in his and Karen’s leadership. He cashed in over 2 million in stock this past week. Way to go leading with heart. LMAO these MFers step on peoples hearts. There is a special place in he-l for greedy ba----ds like this.

@uyx+1r98WVoj Bonus is not a guarantee payout. It depend how company performs. I learn this the hard way through out my career. So every time I apply for a new role with different company, I include half or most of my bonus into my new salary. That way some of it is already guaranteed. I pretty sure Karen did same thing with her salary unlike all these crybaby like the other poster stated.

Nothing but a bunch of keyboard cry baby here. Town hall is coming up. If you got something to tell Karen, you can tell it to her face at the town hall but you won’t. You will be right back at this site crying again. Don’t like the company you working for than leave.

She may have done something right to become CEO but how many things has the C-Suite gotten WRONG is the problem. The MIP is a REWARD for the sweat and tears the ants have put in to hold this place up. No reward will equal no ABOVE AND BEYOND. WHICH WILL hugely impact the type of employees CVS will retain and attract. But. Why am I wasting my time. No one cares. “You still have a job = This is just a paycheck”

Totally agree with that! Aetna treated clinicians as educated professionals. CVS treats us like garbage.

The worst thing Mark Bertolini did was allow CVS to acquire Aetna and leave Karen to run it into the ground.

Awww, so sorry your incentive bonus wasn't what you wanted. Let me tell you what my manager told me when I stopped getting bonuses all together a couple of years ago - Even though my productivity was at 110% and the last time I called in was 6 years ago - "at least you have a job" Welcome to the lower ranks. Kind of su-ks when the frog is leaping over your back doesn't it?

Stop being a cry baby. It’s corporate America. Karen must did something right for her to become a CEO. If you think you can do her job you would been in her role by now. Be thankful she haven’t drop you yet. Everyone is replaceable . If you don’t like CVS than go find another company that will give you better treatment
