Thread regarding SAP layoffs

Explain this to me, please

How can CK have 82 percent approval on Glassdoor and how can SAP in general have a 4.3 review rating? Even with all the layoffs and other negative changes that have been happening in the past several years. Do only satisfied people leave reviews or is something else going on here, like positive review stacking by HR?

The one survey where results won't ever be released is the employee survey regarding pledge to flex.

Just think of how many mails and request from Team managers when the survey for "The Best Places to Work" comes around.

We all know that the employee response to this survey is not spontaneous or voluntary but rather the result of many interactions from SAP to get employees to respond favorably.

without this nudging, doubt the Best Place to Work would have the same results. Does this mean the results are tainted.... well yes it does!

Around 2 years ago before the 3K layoffs, SAP's glassdoor rating was 4.5 or 4.6 so definitely it is a fall of 0.3 basis points overall.

Because most of the rating was left by academy students and those interning at SAP. This is what HR pushed for when they briefly worked at SAP.

I had left a 2-star review for SAP on Glassdoor, but a few months later the review was taken down. It was a balanced review and was not overtly negative.
Companies can get bad reviews taken down on Glassdoor

Simple maths, statistics and group dynamics. Last year, 3.000 jobs were cut, leaving 112.000 others that are still happy with their jobs at SAP (they might even be happier than before given they were not among the unfortunate that had to leave („su-ks to be you“ thinking)).
After some major bullsh-t announcement like even more layoffs or RTO, reviews go down the drain for a few weeks but after a month or two, everything is back to normal and the positive reviews greatly outweigh any of the negative voices.
