Went to a company that does software and support for Federal and State agencies and programs. My time at Fiserv wasn't awful, I got treated decently, with the exception of having a no nothing clown as a manager, but it wasn't the absolute worst.

I went to a non financial services start up. I had a 90-minute interview with the CEO and he spent the majority of that time trying to learn about my personal background rather than my professional background. Decisions are made with thorough consideration and without churning; they are then implemented immediately. New features are released weekly, quicker if we need to. People work from anywhere they want.

Just started with a new company. The differences are astounding. There is PTSD from Frankserv, but I’m working on working it out of my system. Heard a coworker laugh and it felt so weird. I haven’t heard happy sounds in an office in forever.

I stepped into a time-machine and went back to the pre-FB days. Come join me and enjoy the good ole times WITHOUT the bullish!t and one that has great leaders that have a vision to grow as a company that includes ALL of their employees.

Direct competitor as well. Fully remote, annual bonus (I didn't have one at Fiserv), higher salary and a much more manageable workload. Like to the point I can't believe it's real. I think I've seen people on here say it before but the PTSD is real after leaving Fiserv.

Retired. Fiserv took every bit of my desire to do well - still recovering. Miss my team, but every time we get together it validates the reasons I left. There are some great people there, but Frank’s insistence that they swim in tar makes it difficult to stay motivated.

Went to direct competitor. Making more $$ and stress/workload way less, and more in-line with position

Fiserv Senior Leadership has no qualms about burying their people with work, and not taking accountability when things fail.

“Former employees why are you still on this board letting Fiserv live rent free in your head.”

Because even though we don’t work for Fiserv, we still work with the same clients and have to continue to hear the horror stories these banks and CUs have to deal with. Much like Nathaniel Hawthorne Scarlet Letter “A”, we all carry the FB’s Orange Letter “F”.

Went to a smaller non-core competitor. Remote sales position. It was the best decision I’ve made in my 25+ year career. My new company’s CEO and management team all worked for large core companies in the past and believed they could do things better. Mission accomplished!…regular investment back into the products, solid product roadmap that includes enhancements that clients and the market have been asking for, we provide great client support where the client comes first. The team we’ve put together is second to none in the industry. The money and bennies are better, while nice, is outweighed by the great culture and camaraderie. I feel sorry for all those stuck at Fiserv, as well as clients that are locked into long term core contracts. I talk to many every week and there are so many really unhappy clients that not only get no support, but are lied to on a regular basis.

Retired. I was 70 and it wasn’t worth the hassle of chasing down a new job.

I purposely moved to a new industry. I wanted to be sure that any new potential employers could not be bought by Fiserv.

Don’t want to get too detailed, but an insurance company. Full WFH, company-wide bonus tied to performance metrics, everyone wants to help on whatever project you are working on, so the culture is extremely positive. I’m sure it won’t always be perfect, but it has been miles better than Fiserv.
