So i just saw on linked that Kevin is leaving SPOT, and I noticed a bunch of branding changes removing SPOT from logos... wtf? I may have missed an email (checks spam folder). If SPOT gets 'disappeared' what about the rest of the public cloud stuff?

The BU has turned into a downright dumpster fire, no thanks to Christine. The org is basically flat sales-wise YoY, which is a complete fail considering it’s on an ~ $160M baseline and NTAP spent over a combined $1B between Spot and IC. Kevin signed up for a massive AOP without any regard for sales, who were then dealt massive quotas with zero mathematical logic. In the last 6 months, all the talent has left and what’s remaining is a group of below average AE’s to function in a “startup” environment. There are problems everywhere. Instaclustr’s total customer count has gone DOWN for SIX consecutive quarters. Considering NetApp doesn’t comp the core AE’s on anything CloudOps, I’m of the opinion they need to spin the entire operation out to PE, who then needs to cut a bunch of dead wood.
Spots sales leadership is miserable
Elaborate on the politics issue pls
The cloud business is draining money and doesn’t make enough profit as much as we thought it would.
The politics over there, do not help either
Lol@anthony liar back at NetApp
He is the reason for all this muck.
It's getting rebranded as CloudOps
