Omaha to deploy track inspectors

Heard today that Omaha is going to send like 75 so called “qualified” 213.9 Personel to come to the main lines, industry leads and yards with high derailments to “inspect” tracks. Please headquarters let us know how we should do are jobs. Brothers spread the word.

I don't think Omaha is trying to placate regulators by putting on a little show (to say "we're working on it"). They're trying to buy themselves as much time as possible before having to hire, train, and rebuild this junkyard called union pacific. My guess is when winnie vinnie sees there is absolutely no way to get the stock to $300 and the moving of freight is failing more and more he'll claim he is looking forward to the next chapter of his life. He will announce he's ready to hand the reins over to someone else who is gonna have a bigger mess to clean up than any Sears or Kmart CEO ever had nightmares over. Especially if Americans regain control of our government and make UP fund its own rejuvenation w/o any lobbyist backroom loans.

The typical Omaha response is to try and over manage an issue to fix it. The lack competency is astounding

MTM told to cut ALL expenses by 10% and if they didn't then they would have to make up for it.

I came to work at West Sacramento the other morning, and they were going out on the Martinez ,Fresno, the one sub, with a history of 20 Form A's and
100 track bulletins, and the other deteriorating industrial leads and sidings with 10 mph and less for meets.
