Other semiconductor companies are paying higher wages and much better work life balance. Also, areas within the USA that are where you would want to live.
It' great. Micron is hiring and will pay low wages in comparison to the Boise extremely high housing market. Go Micron.
Don't worry Micron will layoff again. They do it every couple of years.
Remember that you start at zero years of service from a severance perspective if you go back after getting laid off. I would not accept an offer that that didn't include all stock reinstated as if I had never been separated and full severance if I were to be laid off again.
