With so much bad publicity, would Citibank survive if we (employees) took our money out and let other clients know through social media?

Post ID: @1yfj+1r731fmJ You're right. Citigroup is too big to fail and jail. And so, the Government will Again just like in 2008 bail out Citigroup by pouring and wasting money into it just like AIG. If a civilian did what AIG and Citigroup did and are doing, the civilian would Not get money, help, be bailed out. The civilian would also be placed in jail ! Never say never. The companies Bear Stearns, Lehman, Credit Suisse, Wachovia, etc. are No longer in existence. Reality is painful and bites. Nerves were struck ! LOL !
We are the only US bank heavily integrated in the global economy and based on that the feds would never let us fail no matter how bad our balance sheet is.....move on.

JPMorgan itself has to live with the pearl-clutching ignominy of having to genuflect to Chase Bank since JPMorgan was acquired by Chase, a less venerable bank, more than 20 years ago. It's like Saks or Bergdorf getting acquired by Macys. Even though the combined company kept the JPMorgan name, Chase owns the entire company.
People said the same about AIG, Lehman, Credit Suisse, Bear Stearns, etc. Living and having hundreds of years of history until these companies went bankrupt or were acquired by Bigger Fish. Never say never. It could happen to Citigroup. It appears the 2008 Recession taught you nothing. It was the closest the world got to a Great Depression since 1929. People have selective or short-term memory.
It is an organization with 200 years of history, I don’t think our frustrations wipe this away. Think big and move on.
