Signed BC contract, but now want out. Any advice on getting severance with an exit?

For what it’s worth, for severance, I got a grand total of roughly $115,000 between payout and forward vesting RSUs.

Not trying to sound harsh but the answer to that one might be tough luck. Decision made on information in offer letter. RTO is more a policy, not a term of employment and can change at any time. You even said there was wording about RTO expectation. That speaks for itself.

Well, first they gave only 3 days to accept or reject. Second nowhere in their offer letter did they say strict 5 days RTO. There were words around RTO expectation, but they were worded so tactfully that I did not realize they will go to this extent.

Had I known before, I would have just taken my severance
