Has anyone heard anything about Emerging Energy doing anything worthwhile at all?

Having worked with her. She is woefully ignorant of our industry and is untethered to reality or a morale compass. In my opinion, she bluffed her way in after being cast out by Hess and stayed under Greg's wing thus is untouchable untill he goes. After her AE66 failure it is amazing she is still here, it's notable that she was not given a visible role in the McKenzie work Mark kicked off.
True, ZG at least has industry experience. TP is who/what I loathe about our ELT. An outsider with a smiling face who’s here to sc--w over her fellow co-workers by bringing in consultants to lower comp and benefits, and if you’re in the wrong function, offshore your job to the third world.
I get a chuckle when I see her LinkedIn posts, parroting the marketing approved line about providing fuel, improving lives. Such irony when you’re sc--wing over your own people. She’s a phony wearing some Indian woman’s hair on her head.
Well, this ELT member spent over 30 years in energy industry and understands refining. The recent adds like TP, is all consulting background and is all about bringing consultants…and outsourcing jobs.. AES.. go figure.
Worthwhile - they let the entire EE Team go…
It certainly appears that ZG is untouchable. I think she’s been put on a pedestal and it would be extremely bad press to relieve her of duties. She’s a female in a male dominated industry, credentialed, and exotic (to a degree, she’s Moldovan aka former USSR). I’m not saying she’s a phony, but she plays the elitist game and is great at it.
We’re underwater about 90% on our $200MM NOVONIX investment. So there’s that.
More to the point, has anyone heard of ZG doing anything worthwhile at all? Every effort led by ZG seems to end in disappointing results at a very high cost.
Elliott’s biggest complaint is the lack of people on our board and ELT who have a strong Refining background - which is our core business.
And now we have someone leading our Emerging Energy efforts with absolutely no background in that field.
