Severance offer deadline

Deadline to accept severance offer is on Monday 19th, does anyone know if that means before Monday 19th so by Sunday or COB Monday 19th. My solicitor appointment is booked for Monday morning on the 19th but I’m worried if that’s too late to sign or should I get emergency solicitor over weekend and get it signed and sent?

Which country? If UK, ask your reps, they told employees this at the meetings.

For UK, I believe it is 5pm on Monday 19th.

I used an online service. I couldn’t get a legal review done locally as all solicitors where booked out and as the legal consultation is mandatory for severance agreements I was a bit stuff so used some online service and they tend to work weekends too.

The only issue is payment. An in-person solicitor can bill Broadcom directly (in UK the company has to pay for solicitor for up to £500+ tax) whereas for the online service I had to pay upfront and try to expense.

Why ask here and not in your consultation group?

Based on my experience in Ireland i would get it reviewed over the weekend if you can. You'll likely get a nag mail soon giving you the exact time it expires.
