Lost faith in this company. Citi Management is an awful disgrace and disappointment to the banking industry.
No quality work.
Good reviews but no raises or bonus.
Clicky teams that hire people they know or only from their cultures, (brazillian, indian etc) or friends. Management lies to those not on their gangs.
No HR Support
Senior VPs are incredibly clueless and incompetent.
Can't understand my Team mates (thick accents).
No support from Managers.
No communication or transparency, and everything is a secret or a blatant lie from leadership .
Dev lies and hides critical information from the Business Leaders.
Consultants run the place and train the employees having no ideas or interest in internal policies, procedures or compliance.
Automation = Excel Spreadsheets.
Employees approve their own risk measures.
Speak up and expect only retaliation.
Roles are recycled to positions by which people have no experience or background.
Teams and managers working on consent orders have no idea what they are or what they mean, but use the term as a scare tactic.
No body really cares anymore. Just show up, complete your mandatory trainings and log off OR show up save the company by working your magic... either way...NO BODY CARES!
There's no teamwork, never was and now everyone is in survival mode.
i'm scared to even go into the office as it seems that security and management are pushing people to their brink.
They have people watching people who have nothing to do and too many people getting paid nothing to do nothing and scolding them for it.
Look for a real work environment, even if you take a pay loss, you'll save yourself money in future therapy.
This company teaches you what NOT to do in any company you work for next.
When your manager AND your managers manager is telling you to look for another job because that's what they are doing doing... you've been there waaay too long, but i must admit, it is the best advice i've gotten from management in 7 years.
I'll take the layoff so i can look full time in peace and still pay my bills.
Was here 30 years was laid off this year. It was known I wanted to be laid off because a few years ago when I got into a disagreement with my manager, I told him that he could lay me off after he told me I have other options at citi if i didn’t like the way things are. They did me a big favor. I am now retired at 59.
I am not happy in my current role and group I am working in
At retirement age and the severance would be a nice goose to my finances. Giving them until the end of the quarter to do it, otherwise I'll retire sometime in the 2nd quarter like all the other retirees.
31 years here and I’m 60 and financially secure feel like I worked hard enough here over the years so would like to get a severance package for my blood sweat and tears 😊.
"Is anyone " .
Over 30 years of service and I am tired.
